Why do animals not have chloroplasts. Plant cells have a cell wall but animals cells do not. However plant cells and animal cells do not look exactly the same or have all of the same organelles since they each have different needs. For example plant cells contain chloroplasts since they need to perform photosynthesis but animal cells do not.
Why do plant cells have chloroplasts and cell walls. Animal cells each have a centrosome and lysosomes whereas plant cells do not. Which protist does not have mitochondria.
Animal cells do not have chloroplasts. The organelles are only found in plant cells and some protists such as algae. Thats because animals are heterotrophic they cannot prepare their own food.
Plant cells have chloroplasts but animal cells do not. Chloroplasts work to convert light energy of the Sun into sugars that can be used by cells. Chloroplasts enable plants to perform photosynthesis to make food.
Animal cells dont have chloroplasts because animals arent green plants. Animal cells do not have chloroplasts or cell walls. Accordingly why are chloroplasts found in plant cell only.
Prokaryotes do not have mitochondria or chloroplasts and they generally possess internal membrane systems that are far less complex than those found in the eukaryotes. Support your claim with evidence from the article. Plants cells use photosynthesis from the sun which requires them to have chloroplast filled with chlorophyll to complete this function.
