The grey-headed flying fox is one of several threatened Australian animals and the largest Australian native bat with a wingspan that extends up to 1m.
However the echidna platypus dingo quokka wallaby and wombat are also quite famous Australian animals. Luckily for you kangaroos and wallabies can easily be found in the wild in most rural parts of Australia. Kangaroos and koalas are two of the most talked about native animals of Australia with many people not calling it a trip down under until they have seen them both.
